A species reminiscent of charming, lovable, and cute toys. Any plaything that brings fun and happiness — if it moves on its own and possesses a personality — is classified as a Toy. They take the form of various toys familiar from the real world, such as dolls, blocks, cards, tubes, and robots. Toys come in a wide variety of kinds, and their appearances differ enormously from individual to individual.
Within Luiio, no distinction is made between species — but as this species became known to other worlds outside of Luiio, they came to be collectively referred to as "Toys." Within IDequinosterriai, they are classified as the Livings.
Their ecology is unusual: despite having the appearance of objects, they are Livings and therefore undergo birth and death. A single parent Toy is capable of producing offspring on its own, without a separate reproductive process — instead, offspring are brought into being through some kind of unspecified procedure. The exact process is unknown, but it involves behavior that resembles the making of a wish; in some ways it is similar to creation, though among Toys themselves it is clearly regarded as the process of birth. After death, a Toy enters a state of discard — their remains fall into a massive portal of unknown destination, located deep within Luiio Castle. Additionally, while Toys do not require food for survival, they do require sleep.
